Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well before the next addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl, then gradually combine it with the wet ingredients.
  5. Stir in the rolled oats and raisins until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop tablespoonfuls of the dough onto prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden but the centers are still soft.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
