Instructions
- Prepare the vegetables: Place the sliced onions at the bottom of your slow cooker. Sprinkle minced garlic over the onions.
- Season the brisket: Generously season the beef brisket with smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Assemble in the slow cooker: Lay the seasoned brisket atop the onions and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Add the BBQ sauce: Pour the BBQ sauce over the brisket, ensuring it is well-covered.
- Slow cook the brisket: Cover and set the slow cooker to low, allowing it to cook for 8 to 10 hours until fork-tender.
- Shred and serve: Remove the brisket from the slow cooker, shred with two forks, and mix with the BBQ sauce. Serve on sandwich rolls with optional pickles and coleslaw.
