Description

A comforting slow cooker dish featuring kielbasa, hashbrowns, and cheddar cheese that’s perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cups frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine sliced kielbasa, frozen hashbrowns, diced onion, diced bell pepper, and garlic powder in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix cream of chicken soup with a little water until thinned out.
  3. Pour the thinned cream of chicken soup over the mixture in the slow cooker and stir until well combined.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Add shredded cheddar cheese about 30 minutes before serving, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a healthier option, use turkey sausages and serve with a light salad or steamed veggies.
