- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

- 1 teaspoon salt
- Water, as needed
Instructions
- Blend the chipotle peppers, tomato sauce, garlic, onion, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, and salt until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and adjust the consistency with water.
- Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve immediately or cool and store in an airtight container.
