Description

A comforting warm dessert featuring tender peaches and juicy blackberries topped with a crunchy oat crumble.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Combine the sliced peaches and blackberries with granulated sugar in a mixing bowl and toss gently.
  3. Pour the fruit mixture into the greased baking dish.
  4. Mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl until crumbly.
  5. Spread the crumble topping evenly over the fruit.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
